Dear Parents,
Just a reminder that tomorrow is our Posadas Cultural Activity in the East Gym at 10:00 a.m. You are welcome to observe the activity and take pictures or videos. Also remember that tomorrow is a short day and school will resume on January 2nd.
Our field trip is coming up on January 4th. Students need to be on time that day or they may miss the bus as we are leaving shortly after the bell rings. If your child signed up for a home lunch, please send it with him/her that day.
We have exciting news that a student teacher from BYU-Idaho will be joining us in January. The students wrote letters to Mrs. Galarza today to welcome her to our classroom. She will be with us from January 9th-mid-April.
I want you to know what a pleasure it is to work with your children. Although the days near big holidays become a little more hectic with changes in daily schedules and activities and the excitement that surrounds the festivities, I so enjoy the activities we do together and spending a little time just visiting with your children. Today we made a little ornament that goes along with a Christmas song we learned in Spanish and it was fun to visit with them and just get to feel their excitement as they worked on their projects. I hope that you get to spend quality time with them and can hold loved ones close this season.
